Fiery Red in the Green Watermelon, Blood Red
The poor can become rich, but a beggar never does. The moment a poor person starts working with intelligence, their poverty begins to dissipate. Poverty is the result of deprivation, and as soon as deprivation is eliminated, prosperity follows.
Begging is the curse of a flawed nature. “Nature does not change, even in death.” That is why a beggar never becomes wealthy—because they refuse to abandon their habits. This truth is even harsher and more ruthless when it comes to knowledge and faith.
Those who are communal by lineage, blind by caste and language, confined by borders, and divided in body and soul—these people are the ultimate beggars in creation. And in this, Bangladesh has achieved a hat-trick.
The education, schools, and universities of this country have become the mentors of begging. They breed terrorism, conflict, and destruction!
The educated in this country exploit the uneducated, draining them of their lifeblood. This is why the nation suffers such misfortune.
In the poet’s words, the latest depiction of this country’s poets, writers, and religious figures is:
"Some are being devoured in drunken revelry,
Some are being disgraced with urine in their mouths,
Some are swallowing bones whole.
Savages masquerading as scholars—
In truth, you’re all wretched scoundrels,

The churches, the Kaaba—all stand empty,
A desolate desert, barren and void."
